PH logs 170 new cases on Monday, according to DOH COVID-19 tracker

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 170 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, through its COVID-19 tracker.

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported 170 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, through its COVID-19 tracker.

The tracker also showed that active COVID-19 infections is now below 20,000 at 19,923, while the total number of confirmed infections now sits at 3,683,211 nationwide — including 3,603,312 recoveries and 59,976 deaths.

However, the tacker also showed that only 12,355 individuals were tested nationwide on Sunday, April 17.

The new recorded infections are lower than the average number of COVID-19 cases recorded from April 10 to 17, at 239 per day or a total of 1,674 recorded infections.
