Pagasa: Fair Monday weather nationwide

MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected nationwide on Monday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The state weather bureau, however, added that isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms are possible.

“Sa araw na ito ay ang buong bansa ay makakaranas ng magandang panahon maliban na lang po sa mga isolated na pag-ulan na dulot ng thunderstorm,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

He added that temperatures may be at its highest between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Aurelio advised the public to stay hydrated and avoid sun exposure to prevent heat stroke and dehydration.

Pagasa is likewise monitoring any weather disturbance in the vicinity of the Philippine area of responsibility.

“Wala po tayong namo-monitor o binabantayang low pressure area o bagyo sa loob at sa labas ng ating Philippine area of responsibility,” Aurelio said.

 (We are not monitoring any low pressure area or tropical cyclone inside and outside our Philippine area of responsibility.)

Northern Luzon will have moderate to rough seas with waves of up to 3.1 meters, while the rest of the country’s seaboards will be slight to moderate with waves of up to 2.1 meters.
