MANILA, Philippines — Isolated rain showers are expected in parts of Luzon on Easter Sunday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa).
“For Central Luzon, particularly sa may Bulacan, Pampanga, southern Aurora, Calabarzon and Metro Manila, meron tayong paguulan dulot lamang ng isolated rain showers,” said Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja.
(Isolated rain showers are expected in Central Luzon, particularly in Bulacan, Pampanga, southern Aurora, the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region and Metro Manila.)
“Sa hapon at gabi mataas din po ang tiyansa ng pagulan dito po sa natitirang bahagi pa ng Luzon,” he added.
(In the afternoon and evening, the chance of rain is also high in the rest of Luzon.)
The same weather conditions are also forecast in the Visayas and Mindanao.
No weather disturbance is expected to form or enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days, said Estareja.
Meanwhile, due to the prevailing northeast easterly wind flow, a gale warning is currently up over the seaboards of Batanes, Ilocos Norte and the northern coast of Cagayan including the Babuyan Islands.
Wavesof from 2.8 to 4.5 meters are possible.
