MANILA, Philippines — Generally clear skies and fair weather will prevail throughout the country on Friday, but rain remains possible due to localized thunderstorms, said the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa).
“Sa Luzon, patuloy pa rin ang maaliwalas na panahon an may kasamang mga isolated rain showers o thunderstorms,” said Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario in a weather report.
(In Luzon, clear weather will continue togeether with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.)
“Sa Kabisayaan at Mindanao, patuloy na na maaliwalas na panahon ang ating inaasahan, maliban na lang sa mga isolated and localized thunderstorms,” he added.
(In Visayas and Mindanao, we continue to expect clear weather, except for isolated and localized thunderstorms.)
Meanwhile, Typhoon Basyang, with international name “Malakas,” was last spotted 1,720 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), continuing to move further away from the country.
No other storms are expected to form or enter PAR in the next three days, said Ordinario.

Baguio City: 15 to 23 degrees Celsius
Laoag City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Tuguegarao: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Legazpi City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Tagaytay: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
Iloilo City: 24 to 30 degrees Celsius
Cebu: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Tacloban City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Cagayan De Oro City: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga City: 22 to 32 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
No gale warning is also currently raised in any parts of the country’s seaboards, however, moderate to rough seas are expected in the eastern coast of the country.
