SC spox: Release of Bar exam results to proceed as scheduled

MANILA, Philippines — The release of the results of the 2020/21 Bar Examination will proceed as scheduled despite a fire incident that broke out at one of the Supreme Court’s offices Tuesday morning, a court official said.

“The results of the Bar exams today will proceed as scheduled. The incident this morning has no effect on the release of the Bar exams,” Supreme Court’s Public Information Chief and Spokesperson Atty. Brian Keith Hosaka told reporters.

Hosaka confirmed the fire that broke out Tuesday morning from the Supreme Court’s Management Information Systems Office (MISO). He said it was due to a faulty UPS.

Quoting the Bureau of Fire Protection, he said the fire is already confined and controlled.
