MANILA, Philippines — The municipality of Pateros in Metro Manila did not log a single new COVID-19 case on Saturday, April 9, the independent analytics group OCTA Research reported on Saturday.
OCTA Research fellow Guido David, citing data from the Department of Health (DOH), said that 13 local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila logged less than 10 new COVID-19 infections on April 9.

The cities of Mandaluyong, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas and San Juan recorded only one new case while Pateros had none.
Meanwhile, Pasay City recorded the most number of new infections at 21, followed by the City of Manila with 19, Caloocan City with t 12 and Quezon City with 11.

- Pasig– 6 new cases
- Valenzuela – 4 new cases
- Taguig – 2 new cases
- Mandaluyong – 1 new cases
- Marikina – 1 new cases
- Muntinlupa – 1 new cases
- Navotas – 1 new cases
- San Juan – 1 new case
- Pateros – 0 new case
As of April 9, the Philippines registered a total of 3,681,101 COVID-19 cases, with 29,440 active cases, according to the DOH’s COVID-19 tracker.
