P428K worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Bulacan

PULILAN, Bulacan––Police seized more than P428,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from 19 suspects during separate buy-bust operations on Wednesday (April 6) in the province, police said.

Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said the three–Luthgard Abesamis, 39; Ferdie Sultan, 47; and Erwin Joson, 40–were on the drug watch list in this town.

Undercover police seized 58.23 grams of shabu worth P395, 964 from the trio during the operation in Barangay Paltao. The suspects also yielded a .38-caliber revolver.

Authorities also recovered 39 sachets of shabu worth P33,000 from 16 other drug suspects in the province. INQ
