LUCENA CITY––Anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Wednesday and Thursday four alleged peddlers of shabu (crystal meth) in Batangas province.
In Sto. Tomas City, police collared around 2:28 a.m. Jason Cetra, 39, after he allegedly sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Poblacion 2, the Batangas police reported.
Authorities found two sachets of shabu in the suspect. Also confiscated was a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.
In Batangas City, police also busted at 2:06 a.m. Mike Nuñez, 20, in another sting operation in Barangay Balagtas. The suspect yielded three sachets of meth.
Anti-narcotics agents in Lipa City arrested at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday Ken Errol Pagaspas, 22, and Lexter Rueca, 23, after they allegedly sold marijuana to a poseur buyer in Barangay 11.
Police seized two ziplocked plastics of dried marijuana leaves from the suspects. Authorities also seized a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspects in their trade.
The four suspects were jailed and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
