PH recognizes COVID-19 vax certificates of 4 more countries
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines now recognizes the COVID-19 vaccination certificates of four more countries — Bangladesh, Mexico, Pakistan, and the Slovak Republic.
Acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar made the announcement on Wednesday evening.
The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases recognized the certificates from those four countries “for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement,” Andanar said.
The Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation’s One Stop Shop, and the Bureau of Immigration were tasked with recognizing the newly approved vaccination certificates.
