ILOILO CITY — Seven houses were gutted and three others partially damaged when fire broke out in Iloilo City early yesterday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.
No one was reported injured in the fire that hit a community in barangay San Juan in Molo District here.
Chief Insp. Jerry Berte, Iloilo City fire marshal, said the fire started around 2:25 a.m. and was extinguished around 4 a.m.
Investigators were still validating an initial finding that the fire had originated from a computer shop, which was among the gutted properties. /INQUIRER
