Angeles City logs 9 new COVID-19 cases

ANGELES CITY––The city government registered on Sunday (April 3) nine new COVID-19 cases, the biggest number in the last three weeks.

In its latest update, the city government said the new COVID-19 cases include three residents of Malabanias village, two from Anunas, two from Pampang, and one each from Pulung Cacutud and Sto. Cristo.

This city has been reporting a very low number of new cases in the past several days. On April 2, it had a single new case, while there were zero new cases from March 29 to April 1.

It registered two new recoveries and no deaths on Sunday.

The nine new cases have brought the city’s active COVID-19 cases to 15, up from eight on Saturday.

Several residents commented on the city’s social media page that COVID-19 cases seem to be starting to rise.

This city has recorded 14,632 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 14,078 have recovered, while 539 have died.
