Pagasa weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the LPA was last seen 2,350 kilometers east of Mindanao.
“Posible po itong pumasok ng Philippine area of responsibility at magdala ng pag-ulan sa eastern side ng ating bansa particularly sa area ng Caraga, Eastern Visayas at Bicol Region,” he said in an early morning weather bulletin.
“Posible pong dyan siya magdala ng makulimlim na panahon na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan, pagkidlat at pagkulog,” he added.
Saturday forecast
Meanwhile, the shear line and the easterlies will affect the country’s weather on Saturday.
Pagasa’s forecast showed that Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, and Mountain Province will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the shear line.
Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Bohol, and Davao Oriental will likewise have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms still also due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
