MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit a public utility bus while traversing Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City on Wednesday afternoon, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported.
In a report, the QCPD said the blaze broke out at 4:57 p.m. and lasted for about 10 minutes. Fire out was declared at 5:08 p.m., police said.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
Police said the bus driver told investigators that the fire started from the wirings of the vehicle battery located behind the driver’s seat.
