DOH to hold mass COVID-19 vaccination in Pampanga on April 1
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The Department of Health – Region 3 will hold a mass vaccination for those aged 5 years old and above at the Maimpis village in the City of San Fernando in this province on April 1.
The DOH-3 said the Central Luzon Center for Health Development compound in Maimpis will be the venue for the inoculation event and is open to the general public.
It said the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be available for pediatric vaccination while those who are 18 years old and above may avail themselves of the primary, second dose, or a booster shot of vaccines against COVID-19.
The agency has advised those who would participate in the “Bayanihan Bakunahan” program to wear face masks and maintain a one-meter physical distance during the event.
The DOH-3 also reminded the public not to become complacent, saying that the pandemic has yet to end despite the prevailing Alert Level 1 in most parts of the country.
Article continues after this advertisementIt said while the number of COVID-19 infections continues to go down, the threat of COVID-19 and its variants will remain until every eligible individual gets vaccinated against the viral disease.
