THE Department of Social Welfare and Development warned the public, especially the beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, against the text scams that started to spread nationwide.

Most text scams read like this: Congratulations! From: President Noynoy Aquino Foundation. 4PS-Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. your SIM # won! PHP950,000.00 2nd prize winner,“Handog pang-kabuhayan” raffle promo! DTI0154s’11Call me now. Haidee M. Lee 09275928747.

The DSWD Central Visayas reminds public to be vigilant of these text scams and immediately report to Pantawid Pamilya’s Grievance Redress hotlines 0918-9122183 and 0947-8181395.
