Gun-toting man nabbed after threatening neighbor over debt in Bulacan
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan––Police arrested on Wednesday, March 23, a 59-year-old security guard, who pointed a gun at his neighbor over an unpaid loan.
Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, identified the suspect as Roman Albareda of Barangay Panginay in Balagtas town.
Ochave said Albareda was the guarantor of a loan obtained by the sister-in-law of the victim, identified as Emerson Samonte, 33.
Albareda demanded that Samonte ask his sister-in-law to pay the debt. The two then got into a heated argument, which triggered the suspect to draw his .38-caliber gun and threaten the victim.
