The agency previously halted its daily COVID-19 report and transitioned into a weekly report.

In the DOH’s latest weekly report, a total of 3,572 infections — or an average of 510 per day — of COVID-19 were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) from March 14 to 20.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said the transition to weekly reporting is meant to “boost the confidence” of the public under the new normal.
