Alleged marijuana trader busted in Antipolo City

LUCENA CITY––Police arrested Sunday, March 20, a drug suspect, and seized more than P212,000 worth of marijuana in Antipolo City, Rizal province.

The Calabarzon police reported that anti-narcotics agents collared Jheremy Javier during a buy-bust operation at 7:50 p.m. in Barangay Mambugan.

Authorities said stalks of “weeds,” which weighed 1.7 kilograms and had a street value of P212,500, were found in the suspect.

Police said they were still trying to determine the source of the marijuana.

Javier was jailed and will be charged with possession of illegal drugs.
