3 suspected drug pushers fall in Lucena buy-busts

LUCENA CITY – Three suspected drug pushers yielded over P157,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) after they were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Friday, March 18, a report said Saturday, March 19.

Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, said that police agents collared Jervy Lustado after he allegedly sold a pack of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) Isabang on Friday morning. The suspect yielded shabu in three plastic sachets with a street value of P112,812.

Also confiscated was a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.

Lucena police also nabbed Cristina Orinoco in a drug sting operation in Barangay Dalahican also on Friday morning. Seized from the suspect were four sachets of shabu worth P22,440.

Meanwhile, Michael Unsay was also busted in Barangay Mayao Crossing around 10:17 p.m. Police confiscated four sachets of shabu from his possession worth P22,440 in the street market.

The suspects are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
