Isko Moreno still hopeful for votes from Bicol
OAS, Albay—More than a thousand supporters of presidential aspirant and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso trooped to this town’s public pavilion to attend his campaign sortie Tuesday.
Moreno, who has been campaigning in the Bicol region for three days now, was accompanied by his running mate Dr. Willie Ong and four members of their senatorial slate.
“We already visited Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate and we are still hopeful that we will win the hearts of Bicolanos,” Moreno said.
Moreno acknowledged that Bicol is the bailiwick of one of his opponents Vice President Leni Robredo.
He also said they had visited northern Luzon provinces, which are known to be supportive of another opponent, former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Moreno was also thankful for the increase in ratings for him in recent surveys. But he promised he would continue to work hard to gain more votes.
“[I] wanted to let them feel that I am after the good welfare of the public and right now we are in crisis [with the oil price hike and COVID-19 pandemic] and we need a crisis manager in the coming days,” he said.
