7 Tarlac towns now COVID-free
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – From only five last weekend, the number of COVID-free towns in Tarlac increased to seven as of Monday (March 14), data from the provincial government showed.
In its latest update, the Tarlac provincial health office said Anao and San Jose no longer have active COVID-19 cases after the COVID-19 patients in the towns recovered from the disease.
On March 11, only Moncada, Pura, San Clemente, Ramos, and San Manuel were free of COVID-19.
Mayantoc and Bamban, which became COVID-free several days ago, now have a single active case each.
Tarlac registered 11 new cases, 26 recoveries, and zero deaths on Monday. Its active cases stood at 35.
Article continues after this advertisementVictoria town has the most active cases at six, followed by Capas and Concepcion with five each, and the capital Tarlac City with four.
Article continues after this advertisementThe province has recorded a total of 23,592 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 22,703 had recovered, while 854 had died.
