THIRTY-NINE players from Mindanao aged 14 years below have been added to the list of the Little Azkals selection.
With the new addition, the selection now has a total of 68 players up for evaluation for the 30-man training camp that will be held during summer in Cebu.
The boys are members of the Davao Football Association (DFA), Compostela Valley Football Association (COMVALFA), Agusan del Sur Football Association (ADSFA), North Cotabato Football Association (NOCOFA), Sultan Kudarat Football Association (SKFA), Maguindanao-Cotabato City Football Association (MAGCOCIFA), Bukidnon Football Association (BUFA), Cagayan de Oro-Misamis Oriental Football Association (CMOFA), Zamboanga del Norte-Dipolog Football Association (ZANDIFA), Iligan-Lanao del Norte Football Association (ILNOFA), Misamis Occidental-Ozamis Football Association (MOOFA) and Zamboanga Football Association (ZAFA).
They were scouted from the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Boys U14/Girls U13 Visayas Regional Festival of Football held in Davao and Iligan.
From the DFA were Darius Joseph Diamante, Javier Romero-Salas, Jeffril Cabaral, Enzo Magno, Miggy Aquino, Jake Bryan Ferolino, Mark Lester Baisac and Lagura.
Chosen from ADSFA were Jevelou Bacolod, Jeson Cataluna, Eric Pocon Jr. and Gerry Barluado. NOCOFA players are Mark Christian Platon, Lorence John Camiring, Tessarence Van Arenas, Reneboy Palabrica, Kenneth Nino Pesitas and Jake Guarino.
MAGCOCIFA booters chosen were Esmael Samirudin and Rigo John Rosanable. Six chosen from BUFA were Christian Betanio, Lawrence Ivan Javavla, Andrew Greg Ramos, Michael Rogen Pangan, Alhiat John Joseph Bajarla and Chester Gio Palualan.
From CMOFA were Jeremiah Borlongan, Lance Argana, Juancho Fernandez and Adriane Villaflor while ZANDIFA players were Sebastian Patangan and Fritz Palon.
ILNOFA’s Eugene Vicente, Peter Quilo and Kobe Stuart Del Rosarion join the list while John Lloyd Villa of SKFA, Jay Mark Ville Vargas of COMVALFA, Brian Haim of MOOFA and France Filoteo of ZAFA complete the list.
Diamante, Romero-Salas and Borlongan were former members of the Philippine U13 national youth team originally tagged the Little Azkals.
Colina and his staff will start the evaluation as soon as scouting is done in the remaining PFF regional football festivals in Laguna from March 9 to 12. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
