Drug suspect nabbed for selling illegal drugs in Iloilo

ILOILO CITY––A man is facing charges after his arrest on March 12 for allegedly selling prohibited drugs in Barangay Tamboilan, Dumangas town in Iloilo.

Jason Junsay, 38, did not resist arrest.

Police Senior Master Sergeant Kim John Banzon, chief investigator of the Dumangas Police Station, said Junsay sold a 12-gram sachet of shabu worth about P80,000 during a drug bust.

Also seized in Junsay’s residence were four sachets of drugs worth P30,000, other drug paraphernalia, and a short firearm.

The suspect is at the custodial facility of the Dumangas Police Station pending the filing of charges against him for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
