MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and rain will continue over parts of Luzon on Monday, while the rest of the country will experience fairer weather with hotter conditions in the Visayas and Mindanao, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to Pagasa senior weather specialist Chris Perez, the shear line will continue to affect the eastern parts of Luzon where cloudy skies and rain will persist.
Meanwhile, slightly cloudy to cloudy skies are forecast in the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
“Mainit naman o maalinsangan ang panahon sa nakararaming bahagi ng Visayas at Mindanao bukas, subalit may tiyansa rin ng mga isolated rain showers na dulot ng mga localized thunderstorms lalo na sa dakong hapon at gabi,” said Perez.
(The weather will be hot or humid in most parts of Visayas and Mindanao tomorrow, but there is also a chance of isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms especially in the afternoon and evening.)

Metro Manila: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Baguio City: 14 to 24 degrees Celsius
Laoag City: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
Tuguegarao: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Legazpi City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Tagaytay: 23 to 29 degrees Celsius
Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
Iloilo City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Cebu: 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
Tacloban City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Cagayan De Oro City: 24 to 30 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 26 to 34 degrees Celsius
No gale warning is raised but moderate to rough sea conditions are expected in the seaboards of the Northern and Eastern parts of the country, with waves reaching as high as 1.2 to 2.8 meters.
