MANILA, Philippines — The water level at Angat Dam in Norzagaray, Bulacan, which supplies the water requirements of Metro Manila and nearby provinces, slid further to 194.19 meters above sea level (masl) on Saturday.
This was slightly less from Friday’s 194.41 masl, still below the normal water level of 212 masl, according to the daily dam water level update released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Pagasa hydrologist Elmer Caringal said the current measurement was lower compared to the same period from the previous years, considering that the dry season has not officially started.
