The completion of this hospital is very timely, and we will ensure that a second wing will also be constructed through the new budget. We will also include all the medical needs and the tools, equipment to make the new Ospital ng Tagaytay a world-class working hospital,” Legarda said.

Legarda has likewise emphasized that aside from taking care of the people’s health, the environment’s health should also be prioritized, especially amid the pandemic.

“Our pandemic recovery should respond to the health needs of our people and on our economic recovery and should be attuned to the climate pathway as we are also dealing with the climate crisis,” Legarda said.

“Especially in a locality like Tagaytay that has very good tourism. Taking care of our people’s health is alongside taking care of our environment’s health, because it is also the source of livelihood of our countrymen.”
