Almost P400 K shabu seized in Nueva Ecija sting
SCIENCE CITY OF MUÑOZ, Nueva Ecija – Police seized nearly P400,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation here from an alleged high value target from Caloocan City on Friday night.
The local police reported that Aaron Celestino, 22, was arrested in Barangay (village) Bantug at around 6:30 p.m.
Police Leuitenant Colonel Marlon Cudal, city police chief, said local anti-drugs operatives seized from Celestino nine packs of shabu, with a total volume of 58 grams and worth an estimated P394,000.
The operation was hatched after authorities confirmed the suspect’s illicit activities, police said.
Celestino who is facing a formal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act is now detained at the police’s custodial facility.
