400 more public school teachers in Olongapo City get free laptops
OLONGAPO CITY––At least 400 more teachers in this city received on Thursday, March 10, free laptops from the local government, which purchased the computers through its special education fund.
The teachers, most of them from Olongapo City National High School, belong to the second batch of laptop recipients, according to the Olongapo City Information Center.
Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. had previously said that the laptops would aid the teachers in limited in-person classes.
“Any help we can extend, I’m always open and will fully support our teachers,” Paulino said.
A total of 1,500 laptops are available for distribution under this project. A total of 800 laptops were distributed in January.
