Businessman loses parked Pajero to car thieves in QC

MANILA, Philippines — A trader lost his parked sports utility vehicle to car thieves while he was having lunch at a fast-food restaurant at around noon Monday in Quezon City.

Initial reports from the Quezon City Police District’s Anti-Carnapping Unit identified the victim as Dennis Bernal, a businessman and resident of West Crame, Quezon City.

The complainant told police that he parked his black 2001 Mitsubishi Pajero with license plate WRC 309 at the restaurant’s parking area and had his lunch.

When he went back to the parking area after finishing his meal, the SUV was already gone.
