LPG price up by P7.95 in March

Market monitoring by the Department of Energy (DOE) showed that the latest increase brought the three-month total to P11.95 per kilo. This translates to a hefty increase of P131.45 for the standard 11-kilogram cylinder.

DOE estimates showed that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices this month may range between P794 and P1,054 per cylinder from last month’s rates that ranged from P794 to P1,010 per cylinder.

The latest price hikes have already been announced by Petron Corp., Solane LPG, and Phoenix Super LPG. These prices are adjusted every first day of the month. —KARL R. OCAMPO
