MANILA, Philippines — The country will have a generally fair weather condition on Friday except for some areas that will experience easterlies and localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.

“Generally fair weather condition o pangkalahatang maaliwalas na panahon ang ating inaasahan maliban na lamang sa mga tsansa ng mga pulo-pulong pag-ulan o pagkidlat, at pagkulog,” Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said during Thursday’s weather forecast.

(We are expecting a generally fair weather condition with possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.)

However, Eastern Visayas will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Moreover, Pagasa said that the country will be typhoon-free in the next five days.

“Sa ngayon, wala naman tayong mino-monitor na low pressure area or sama ng panahon na maaaring maging bagyo sa susunod na tatlo hanggang limang araw,” said Ordinario.

(Currently, we are not monitoring any low pressure area or weather disturbance that can become a tropical cyclone in the next three to five days.)

Meanwhile, the country’s coastal waters will be in slight to moderate condition with a wave height of 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
