100 cops’ kids in Central Luzon vaccinated vs COVID-19
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––At least 100 children of Central Luzon police officers ages 5 to 11 years were vaccinated Wednesday against COVID-19 at the gymnasium of Camp Julian Olivas in the City of San Fernando in this province.
In a statement, Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, said the activity by the PRO3 dental and medical unit was the first day of the pediatric vaccination rollout for the dependents of police officers in the region.
He said only US-made Pfizer vaccines were administered to the children.
Meanwhile, the provincial government in this city has opened a drive-thru vaccination for children at the Pampanga isolation facility in Mexico town.
In Angeles City, pediatric vaccination continues to be conducted on a per-village schedule at the City College of Angeles.
