CEC finishes third in 16-under category

AFTER GETTING upset in the semifinals, the Cebu Eastern College Dragons settled for third place as they blasted the University of San Carlos-South, 76-57, in the 16-under division of the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup basketball tournament last Saturday at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball court at the Cebu Business Park.

CEC was actually the top seed heading to the semifinals before they were blindsided by the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles in the Final Four.

In other results, the University of San Jose-Recoletos bested CEC, 29-18, to capture third place honors in the 13 under. In the 19-under division, the Adgers clobbered the University of the Visayas, 92-59. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
