MANILA, Philippines – Three more police personnel contracted COVID-19, bringing the total caseload of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to 48,815 on Tuesday.
Based on the PNP Health Service, the institution has 23 active cases.
The case bulletin also indicated that nine more personnel have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of those who survived COVID-19 to 48,664.
The death toll remains at 128 as no new fatalities among the police force were reported.

As of Monday, 97.94 percent or 220,182 of its 224,817 officials had been fully vaccinated, while 1.73 percent comprising 3,893 personnel were partially vaccinated.
Meanwhile, the PNP recorded that 120,878 among its ranks have received their booster shots.
