Another town in Zambales now COVID-19 free

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Another town in this province now has zero active COVID-19 case, according to the latest tally shown on Saturday.

According to data from the provincial health office, the remaining two patients in Cabangan town were among the three recoveries on Friday, Feb. 25. San Felipe town earlier obtained a virus-free status for having no active cases since Feb. 23.

To date, the active infections in the province dropped to 54 with only two new cases on Saturday.

Same data showed that COVID-19 death toll in the province stood at 645 with no new fatalities in the last six days.

Since 2020, the province has recorded 11,534 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 11,214 or 93.94 percent that have already recovered from the disease.
