MANILA, Philippines — The areas of Caraga, Aurora and Quezon provinces will experience cloudy skies and rainy weather on Saturday, due to the easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean or to the shear line or tail end of a cold front.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Caraga will experience cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains caused by easterlies.
Aurora and Quezon are also expected to have cloudy skies with rains, which could cause possible flash floods or landslides due to frequent moderate rains brought in by the shear line.
The rest of the country will experience a fair weather condition, said Pagasa.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the rest of Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
Meanwhile, Batanes, northern coast of Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, the eastern seaboard of northern Luzon, the eastern seaboard of Central Luzon and Quezon, and the eastern seaboards of Bicol and Visayas will experience rough to very rough sea conditions with 2.8 to 4.5 meters of waves due to the northeast monsoon, according to Pagasa.
