THE HEAT IS ON today as the championship games in the 10-under and 13-under divisions of the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup gets underway at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball court at the Cebu Business Park.
The University of San Carlos-North and the University of San Carlos-South clash for all the marbles in the 10-under division.
The two squads earned the finals berths after topping the standings with similar 3-1 (win-loss) records.
In the 13-under division, the top-seeded Cebu Eastern College Dragons take on the University of the Visayas.
UV is making its first appearance in the finals of the 13-under class, proof that their grassroots basketball program has indeed come a long way.
The 16-under championship between the SBP national champions University of the Visayas and the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles will take place on March 10 at the same venue.
