MANILA, Philippines — The government has so far administered over three million COVID-19 vaccine doses during the third leg of its national vaccination drive dubbed “Bayanihan, Bakunahan.”
According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire on Friday, 664,462 doses were so far provided as first shots, 1.2 million were provided as second doses, and 187,575 were provided for single-shot doses during the activity.
Meanwhile, a total of 968,158 booster shots were administered.
The government is aiming to provide five million COVID-19 jabs during the third installment of the vaccination drive.
The vaccination drive was initially set from February 10 to 11 but was extended until February 18.
Over 60 million Filipinos are now vaccinated against COVID-19, according to government data.
