Pharmally exec’s wife seeks husband’s release
The wife of Linconn Ong, a director of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. who has been implicated in the controversial purchase of P11.5-billion pandemic supplies, asked the Senate blue ribbon committee to release her husband because of their sick son. Summer Ong made the request of Sen. Richard Gordon who asked other senators for their comments. Ong was detained, along with fellow Pharmally executives Mohit and Twinkle Dargani, because of their continued refusal to submit financial documents. —MELVIN GASCON
