5 drug suspects busted in Rizal; P96K ‘shabu,’ gun seized

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested five drug suspects in Cainta town and Antipolo City in Rizal province on Saturday and seized over P96,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm.

The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Armando Miranda, Recxander Gepulla, and Novery de Guzman after the three sold a pack of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) San Luis in Antipolo City around 3:25 p.m.

Authorities seized 10 plastic sachets of shabu worth P82,800 in the street market and drug sniffing paraphernalia.

In Cainta town, anti-narcotics agents busted Julliard Kallos and Jayson Bindal in another sting operation in Barangay San Juan early in the morning.

Police found the two carrying six sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P13,600.
The agents also confiscated a loaded caliber .38 gun from the suspects.

The arrested suspects are facing criminal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Kallos and Bindal were also facing charges for violation of gun laws and election gun ban.
