MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo said Saturday that the election is not just about selecting the most skillful candidate but also about choosing the type of politics and leadership Filipinos will want to see in the next six years.

Speaking at the balcony of St. Joseph Cathedral in Balanga, Bataan before a pink-clad crowd, Robredo pointed at how significant the upcoming May 9 elections will be for the country’s future.
