MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––The Tarlac provincial government will hold nighttime vaccination for employees who find it hard to get inoculated against COVID-19 due to their work schedules.

In a statement Friday, Feb. 11, the provincial government said the nighttime inoculation would be at the Maria Cristina Park in front of the provincial capitol Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will include booster shots.

It urged those unable to get inoculated against the viral disease due to job-related reasons to take advantage of the “Resbakunight” program.

At least 920,594 Tarlac residents have been vaccinated fully as of Thursday. The number comprises 61.2 percent of the province’s 2020 population of 1,503,456.

Some 89,245 residents have also received their initial dose of the vaccines and are still waiting for their second dose.

On Thursday, Tarlac registered 46 new patients, 79 recoveries, and zero deaths. Its active cases stood at 359.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, the province has recorded 23,119 COVID-19 cases, of which 21,908 had recovered while 892 had died. INQ
