P9M worth of marijuana seized in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan––Police seized P9 million worth of marijuana from two suspects arrested Thursday during a buy-bust operation in San Miguel town.

Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said 80 bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing 80 kilos were seized from Dexter Asban of the City of Malolos and Jomerson Macusi of Guiguinto town.

Operatives of the Bulacan Police Provincial Intelligence Unit arrested them around 12:30 a.m. inside their rented apartment in Barangay Paliwasan.

The suspects’ unidentified companion, however, had escaped, Ochave said.
