SORSOGON CITY, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo’s second campaign day involved a tour of Camarines Norte and then Sorsogon — where she was welcomed by senatorial candidate and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero in a program at the provincial capitol.

Robredo on Wednesday started her tour at Camarines Norte’s capital of Daet, where she reminded voters to be more discerning of candidates presenting themselves as the answer to the country’s problems — but have not delivered solutions when they had the chance.

Robredo also said that she hopes politics in the province would not be a reason to be divisive, as she is advocating for a government that is clean and good — which all of them should aspire for.

After Daet, Robredo then stopped by Camarines Norte’s Labo town, where she also asked people supporting her to also support her entire slate — from her running mate Senator Francis Pangilinan and the senatorial candidates she picked.

Robredo also went to Sorsogon’s Gubat town, and then to Sorsogon City where she was welcomed by Escudero — who is part of the Vice President’s guest candidates.  Aside from Escudero, senatorial aspirants Chel Diokno, Sonny Matula, Teddy Baguilat, and Senator Richard Gordon accompanied the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.

On Tuesdsay, Robredo’s team kicked off her campaign at her hometown province of Camarines Sur, touring Lupi and Libmanan towns before Tigaon, and then Iriga.  She culminated her day through a proclamation rally in Naga City, which drew huge crowds over Plaza Quezon.
