3 most wanted persons in Central Luzon nabbed

OLONGAPO CITY—Three most wanted persons in Central Luzon were arrested in separate operations in the region, authorities said Wednesday, Feb. 2.

One of them, Jan Adams Rios, was arrested in Barangay Cabalan in this city. Rios had been tagged as the top five most wanted persons in Central Luzon, according to a report of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).

Rios is facing charges for rape in Dinalupihan town, Bataan province.

Police also arrested Leode Celeste, one of the most wanted persons in Pampanga province. Celeste, who is also facing a rape case, was arrested in Barangay Camachiles in Mabalacat City.

In Floridablanca town, also in Pampanga, police arrested Roland Sagad for child abuse. Sagad is among the most wanted persons in that town.

“The entire Central Luzon police force, together with other police units, continues its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars and maximizes its efforts to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region,” said Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, PRO3 director, in a statement.
