Zambales to allow walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccination of 5-11-year-old kids
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––The Provincial Health Office (PHO) started preparing for the pediatric COVID-19 vaccination for children ages 5 to 11 slated for this month, an official said Tuesday.
Dr. Noel Bueno, PHO chief, said parents or guardians of the children could go directly to the vaccination sites in the towns even without registering online.
Bueno said they were still waiting for the vaccine allocation of the province, adding that they could begin the mass pediatric inoculation next week.
The government will administer the Pfizer vaccine to children within this age group.
Bueno said the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in the capital town of Iba was eyed as the main vaccination venue for the children.
