Another COVID-19 death at PNP brings total to 127

MANILA, Philippines — Another personnel has succumbed to COVID-19, bringing the total number of fatalities among the police force to 127, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported on Tuesday.

The PNP Health Service also said the total number of cases is now at 48,353 after 208 new cases were logged.

Of the total number of cases, 1,489 are still active cases.

The total number of recoveries is now at 46,737 after 325 new recoveries were reported.

Meanwhile, the Philippines on Monday reported 3,560,202 cases including 190,818 active cases, 3,315,381 recoveries and 54,003 deaths, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
