P2.8M marijuana seized in Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan––Police seized P2.8 million worth of dried marijuana leaves after arresting two suspects, including a minor, during a buy-bust operation Saturday in this city.

Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said John Archie Sabado, 32, from Nueva Ecija and his 17-year-old companion from Rizal province yielded 20 large bricks of dried marijuana leaves during the operation around 10 p.m. in Barangay Panasahan.

Also recovered from the suspects were mobile phones, vehicles, and the buy-bust money.
