Pagasa’s Monday weather forecast: Cloudy, isolated rain showers in most parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines — Scattered rain showers and cloud skies are expected in parts of Southern Luzon on Monday due to the frontal system or convergence of warm and cool winds and the northeast monsoon or “amihan”, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms toAurora, Quezon, and Bicol region.
Meanwhile, the “amihan” will bring cloudy skies with light rains to Cagayan Valley and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that no weather disturbance, so far, is expected to affect the country’s weather.

(Because of the northeast monsoon, we raised a gale warning over the seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela, fishermen and those with small vessels are not allowed to set sail.)
“And also ibayong pag-iingat din po para sa mga kababayan po natin na maglalayag diyan naman po sa nalalabing bahagi po ng mga dagat-baybayin ng Luzon,” she added.
(Sea travel in other parts of Luzon must he taken with utmost caution.)
