THE SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles have already received their marching orders after they were slated to face two squads today in the opening playdate of the Seaoil NBTC National High School Championships at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
The Magis Eagles, the reigning champions of this tournament, are set to face Se San High School of Ormoc at 1 p.m. and the Sun Yat Sen High School of Iloilo at 4 p.m.
The Magis Eagles made a name for themselves on the local and national front for their title exploits. They captured their second straight Milo Best national title last year after finishing second in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. juniors division.
Their charge today will be led by Cebu leg Most Outstanding Player awardee Julius Cadavis and Cebu All-Star game MVP Dave Wilson Yu. The two players are also set to participate in the NBTC High School All-Star Game on Sunday against the very best high school players from the country./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
